This neon pink velcro Diabetes sport strap bracelet displays a prominent medical symbol and the word Diabetes permanently etched into the stainless steel plaque. The back of the plaque can be engraved with additional medical or contact information in case of emergency. If you select back engraving, we will engrave the words SEE OTHER SIDE on the front near the top (this feature not available for orders through Amazon). This particular strap design is intended for the active child or petite adult who enjoys running, biking, skiing, or other athletic activities. Plaque slides onto a small band located next to the medical symbol. This band also hooks to the bracelet strap through velcro. Plaque is made of 316L Surgical Stainless Steel. Most medical bracelets on the internet are usually 304 Stainless. Although both are hypoallergenic 316L is non-corrosive. It is also known as 'marine grade' stainless steel due to its increased resistance to chloride corrosion compared to type 304. Though not waterproof, strap is water and mildew resistant.
