About us

StickyJ Medical ID and sister company Thoughtful Impressions have been family owned and operated for more than 21 years. The company is led by CEO Lori Torman, who has an eye for great quality and classic styles. In the early days of medical id bracelets (we're talking 1960's), medical alert bracelets were pretty boring -- basically engraved metal tags with curb link chains. The same styles were offered for children, just smaller (no wonder kids didn't want to wear them). And, by the end of the 20th century things hadn't improved that much. Lori was among the first to recognize that medical id's could be fashion conscious, and in 2005 launched designs in leather as well as stainless, and introduced polyester kids medical id bracelets that had cute designs. The sport strap line of child medical id's she introduced nearly 20 years ago is still the most popular line of children's medical jewelry on the market today. And, we now produce more than 100 different styles of medical alert bracelets and necklaces for men and women. Our engraved bracelets are individually custom engraved by our team of master engravers, ship within three (M-F) business days from the date you order, and all products come with a 90 warranty against manufacturing defects. END TO END ORDER TRACKING

You’ll always know where your order is, from the moment you place it at the website until it arrives at your door. Our tracking system gives you visibility into who picked your order at the warehouse, who engraved it, who packed it, and when it was shipped. All of our employees are at your service. When can I get my order?

It depends. The two factors are when we ship and what shipping option you select.
When We Ship:

  • Engraved Orders ship in 3 business days (Monday through Friday). So, if you order on a Monday it will be engraved and shipped by Thursday. If the order is received on a Friday, it will be engraved and shipped by Wednesday. If you need faster turnaround, we offer expedited service for just $10 additional.
  • Non-engraved Orders ship the next business day

FedEx Intl service takes 2 to 3 FedEx business days (M-F) following the date that we ship. Priority Mail International takes between 2 to 3 weeks to Canada and the U.K., and between 3 to 4 weeks for packages going to the South Pacific. Keep reading for more information on Intl Shipping Options.

The absolute fastest way to get your order from here to there.

Sticky Jewelry offers Expedited Processing Service for orders of two items or less being shipped within the United States. This service guarantees that we will make every possible effort to engrave and ship your order on the NEXT FED EX BUSINESS DAY (Monday through Friday) following the date you place your order. Our expedited processing service is combined with a choice of FedEx 2nd Day Express shipping or FedEx Standard Overnight shipping to insure the fastest and most reliable delivery possible.

Expedited processing service is selected when choosing your Shipping Method during checkout. Select either FedEx 2nd Day EXPEDITED Service or FedEx Overnight EXPEDITED Service. There is a charge of $10 added to the normal FedEx shipping charge. So, FedEx 2nd Day Expedited Service costs $23.95 ($13.95 for FedEx 2nd Day Air plus $10 Expediting Fee), and FedEx Overnight Expedited Service costs $27.95 ($17.95 for FedEx Std. Overnight plus $10 Expediting Fee). If you are placing an order on a Thursday, and would like it delivered by Saturday, you can order FedEx Overnight EXPEDITED with Saturday Delivery. We will engrave and ship your order on Friday with delivery on Saturday. The charge is $54. This service should only be selected if you are placing an order on a Thursday! Expedited service is available for shipments to Alaska or Hawaii, however there is an additional charge of $6.

Expedited Service Option: What it is …. and what it’s not.

If you select either of our Expedited Shipping Services, we will make every effort to engrave and ship your order the very next FedEx business day (Mon through Friday) following the date (EST) your order was placed. It’s a commitment, but not an absolute guarantee. If we succeed (we’re successful 99.9% of the time), it costs you just $10 more than what you would have spent for your selected FedEx shipping service.

If we fail to meet our commitment, we’ll refund the full amount you were charged for the Expediting Service and FedEx Express Shipping, and we’ll ship your order at our expense as soon as we possibly can via FedEx Standard Overnight. Note: By selecting this service, you acknowledge that Sticky Jewelry will not be liable for any damages incurred as a result of a shipping delay, nor will you be permitted to cancel your order once it has been engraved . Our liability is limited to refunding the expediting service charge and providing free FedEx Express shipping.

International Shipping Options

United Kingdom –

We offer FedEx International flat rate shipping to the UK, including England, Wales, Scotland, and Northern Ireland. Shipping by FedEx International varies by destination and weight. By Priority Mail International, the cost of shipping is $25.95 USD for packages under 4 lbs, great than 4 lbs varies by weight and destination.

With FedEx Int’l, delivery occurs within 2 business days (Mon through Fri) following the date we ship, full online tracking is provided from door to door, and your package is insured. The VAT is calculated as a percentage of the total purchase amount (including shipping), plus the FedEx administrative service charge of 2.5% of VAT with a minimum of 6.8 GBP. Taxes and FedEx administrative charges are the customer’s responsibility, however there is no charge if the total purchase including shipping is under 18 GBP.

With Priority Mail International, the package is brokered into the U.K. by the British Postal Service, so there are no FedEx service charges added to the shipment, but it can take from two to three weeks for delivery.

Elsewhere in Europe –

FedEx Int’l Service also varies by weight and destination including Austria, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, and Switzerland.

With FedEx Int’l, delivery occurs within 2 business days (Mon through Fri) following the date we ship, full online tracking is provided from door to door, and your package is insured. The tax is calculated on your total purchase amount (including shipping), plus a FedEx administrative service charge of 2.5% (with a minimum of 10 Euros). Taxes and FedEx administrative charges are the customer’s responsibility, however there is no charge if the total purchase including shipping is under 22 Euros.

Canada –

During checkout, select either FedEx Int’l or Priority Mail International. FedEx Int’l varies by weight and destination and arrives within 2 to 3 (M-F) days following the date we ship. By Priority Mail International, the cost of shipping is $21.95 USD for packages under 4 lbs, great than 4 lbs varies by weight and destination. USPS Priority is expected to arrives approx. 10 days following the date we ship. Plus, you will be responsible for the payment of any VAT or duty assessed by Canadian customs. If shipment is via FedEx, an administrative service charge will be added to your VAT invoice. There is no service charge if you ship by Priority Mail Int’l.

Asia / S. Pacific / Caribbean –

Select FedEx Intl for shipments to Bahamas, Barbados, Cayman Islands, Hong Kong, Puerto Rico. Rates vary by weight and destination.

With FedEx Int’l, delivery occurs within 3 FedEx business days (M-F) following the date we ship, your package is insured, and FedEx provides customs brokerage service for an additional charge. Full online tracking is provided from door to door. Any Taxes or Duty assessed by customs in the destination country are the customer’s responsibility.

South America –

We are not currently shipping to any destinations in South America.

Australia –

Select Priority Mail Intl for shipments to Australia and New Zealand. The charge is $25.95 USD for orders under 4 lbs, over 4lbs vary by weight and destination. Shipments via Priority Mail to Australia can take up to 3 weeks.
